Statistical Consulting: Data Entry Services
Computing & Technology User Services supports the research component as well as the instructional aspect of academic computing. The University has sufficient computing resources to support several faculty and graduate students working on typical research projects during the academic year. Some of the tools available include:- Datasets from the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) via a federated membership with ICPSR
- Datasets from the National Opinion Research Center (NORC)
- The CITIBANK dataset from CITIBASE
- Statistical software including:
- SPSSX
- Minitab
- SHAZAM Time Series
- SAS (on limited basis)
These tools are available on the various computer systems located at St. Cloud State University or other systems located within the Minnesota State Colleges and University System(MnSCU). Computer communications to other valuable networks such as Internet, CICnet, ARPAnet and the Minnesota Supercomputer are in place and ready to support faculty needs.
Faculty needing access to any of these computing resources must obtain a HuskyNet ID through Computing & Technology User Services. Online information is available describing how to use the various tools.
