New MnSCU guideline for secure passwords
MnSCU has passed a new security guideline that requires all students, faculty and staff to create stronger passwords. All SCSU passwords must be reset at least every 180 days, have a minimum of 8 characters and include 3 of the 4 types of characters. This guideline will take effect on October 1, 2009. On that date, if you have not reset your password in the previous 180 days, you will need to do so. For more information and helpful tips on creating easy-to-remember passwords, please click here.
