Celebrating Chicana/o History Month
During
April, the Miller Center is recognizing Chicana/o History Month with a display
of books and resources. The display, located near the Reference area on Miller
Center’s First Floor West, features many books in the library’s
collection on a wide range of topics including culture, education, migration
and immigration and the workers’ movement.

SCSU students, faculty and staff also have access to Ethnic NewsWatch, a comprehensive collection of nearly 700,000 full-text articles from 200 newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press. This collection provides in-depth coverage of a wide range of current and historical topics, with the option for searching in both English and Spanish. The public can access this database at the Miller Center.
