Celebrating Constitution Day September 17
On
Dec. 8, 2004, President George W. Bush signed a bill (public
law 108-447) that designates every Sept. 17 as Constitution Day.
The date is significant because on Sept. 17, 1787 the delegates to the Constitutional
Convention met for the last time to sign the constitution they had created.
