Celebrating Women’s History Month
The
Miller Center is recognizing Women’s History Month
with a display of books and resources by, for and about women. The display,
located near the Reference area on the Miller Center’s first floor, features
many new books in the library’s collection covering topics ranging from
basic women’s history to feminist and social justice issues, with a variety
of perspectives and cultures represented.
Read about the Marx sisters, author Zora Neale Hurston or Pauli Murray, the first African American woman to enter Episcopal priesthood. Learn more about Latin feminist theology, American Indian environment ethics, the upheaval in Haiti and more. The display will be up through March, and all of the books are available for checkout.
